An open space where you can swim, play and pause. That’s Kleinmond’s Sandown Beach. With Blue Flag Status this Overberg beach is not just an amazing bit of coastline, it is also internationally recognised as an environmental asset to the rich tourism offerings of the Cape Whale Coast.
Rotary has recently helped to make the beachfront even more beautiful by adding a number of rubbish bins with pretty pictures and encouraging quotations. Furthermore, Kleinmond also has wild horses and the first UNESCO heritage recognised Kogelberg Biosphere. Special little place this Kleinmond.
