Life in the Overberg

This weekend 16 and 17 June is THE annual weekend that many from around go to Napier to enjoy the Napier Patatfees. Lots of things to do like MTB-races, Scarecrow competition, Marathon, Parade (a sort of carnival), markets and lots of food. Here some pictures of the past two editions.

Also worthwhile a visit is Private Gallery Napier on the main road 100 meters pass the church towards Bredasdorp. Usually open by appointment but during this weekend both days open between 9 and 5. That’s where you can buy budget friendly prints of Overberg landscapes or original design (and handmade) jewellery made of South African Sterling Silver combined with naturally bonded earth.
