Lisé-Marè Botha is fascinated by nature. Small flowers and birds, for example have a lot of detail. She tries to catch that in her paintings. Sometimes the subjects are our of proportions with the background. “But that is because I want to emphasise the beauty of my subjects”. Colours can influence emotions. CrEATIVE NAPIER Pop – Up Art Weekend
24 – 26 September 2021 Friday to Sunday: Daily from 10am – 5pm.
During this upcoming Heritage weekend Napier will be abuzz with creativity, when the artists of the village will be showing their work at various venues throughout the town. It’s a major art event in the Western Cape.
14 Artists will exhibit in 10 different locations. A variety of work will be on display including painting, sculpture, photography, pop art, ceramics, jewellery and more. Various artist studios will be open and accessible to the public, for a peep into the artist’s creative space. Maps will be available at all the exhibiting venues, as well as restaurants.
