That was a great success yesterday: the first edition of the monthly ‘DIE BARS MARKIE’ in downtown Bredasdorp (opposite the Victoria Hotel).

21 stalls and all selling. Not too crowdy but a happy crowd.

And Jewellery designer Yvonne de Wit from Napier was in the middle of all.

The name ‘Sandy’s Glen’ sounds Scottish but the hamlet can be found in the outback between Napier and Gansbaai in the Overberg, South Africa. And Sandy’s Glen has some surprises; not only a church (see pictures) but also a retreat (‘Heart & Soul’) for your spiritual well-being. The surrounding landscape is fascinating in diversity. Well … whenever you are in the region it’s worthwhile a visit.
