We’ve been messing around…

…. earlier today; just by random selecting some pictures for a slide show which you can enjoy on YouTube. These are all pictures we shot during the last 6 months in and around our village and there is absolute no logic in the sequence. Yes, we’ve been messing around a bit. The YouTube does not have the best quality but provides the viewer at least with some impression of an extraordinary village, somewhere in nowhere in South Africa. In case you are interested in a higher quality just email your request to greenc -at- and we’ll send you an MPEG-4 file of 15.4 MB (make first sure that your ISP allows you to receive such large files; some ISP’s don’t allow files of over 5MB for example). You are Welcome!

With thanks to Anton Boshof (the ‘Green House’, Blue Moon), Hair by Belinda (styling model Natasha), Natasha van der Merwe (model), Karuna Pooke (model), Food4Thought, Nonkosinati, Springfontein Winery, Stanford, River Lodge and all the others

Beauty in Stanford

It’s not easy to find people in a small village like Stanford who want to pose for a photo shoot. Especially the women are seemingly shy or ashamed of their looks… Whatever.

Bur Karunda, who hates to be photographed, said without any hesitation “Yes”. She’s a natural talent and we’re pretty sure that if she wants to she’ll become a top model. Karunda is talented, intelligent and has a mind of her own. She’s also eager to learn.

Here a few images of Karunda during her first photo shoot.
